Mac Poker Rooms
Over the course of the online poker revolution, poor Mac users have been treated with less respect than Rodney Dangerfield. What’s the deal? Every Mac user knows they by far have the more superior operating system. Why doesn’t every online poker site cater to the Mac user? Well, for one, Mac users are in the minority. Way more users have PC’s with Windows as an operating system, so it makes financial sense for online poker sites to cater to this demographic. Fear not poor Mac user there is a silver lining.
Mac Poker Rooms Are Out There
Although it may seem hard to find an online poker room that is adaptable for Mac users (sometimes it must seem like it is impossible to play poker online with a Mac) it is not impossible. There are many poker rooms that allow Mac users to engage in the online poker action. The Mac user just has to find the sites that do.
Some online poker rooms have no-download versions of online poker software. These rooms, running on Java or Flash technology, are open to Mac users, although a Mac user would probably feel more secure if they had the latest technologies protecting their personal and financial transactions, especially if a Mac user wants to wager big money.
Other online poker rooms offer Mac players a fully downloadable version of their software. Again, a Mac user has to look for these poker sites. Full Tilt is one site totally compatible for Mac users; Full Tilt also has a generous bonus schedule for its players.
Of course a Mac user can gain access into PC technology if they have the emulator which allows PC software to run on Macs. If using a PC emulator to run software on a Mac, the player should make sure to read the directions before downloading and installing.

The version has some bugs to work out, but for the first time Mac users have access to Party Poker without having to purchase emulator software. This is huge news for Mac users. Traditionally the black sheep of the online poker world, the Mac user is now welcome with open arms into the world’s largest poker room.
